A Bit About Us
 
Our adventure with Gotland sheep began in 2017 when we took a trip from Montana to Minnesota to pick up Finnsheep, and left with two adorable Gotland lambs as well! 

Having purchased our first sheep in 2015, two East Friesian ewes and two Icelandic/Jacob cross ewes, we were surprised at how much we enjoyed having them!

Our interest evolved into a goal of becoming a national producer of rare and endangered breeds, a vision that became Twisted Fleece - Gotland Sheep & Raw Wool.

In 2022, we added a breeding pair of Teeswater lambs, and are very excited to support this elegant and charming critically endangered sheep.  Interestingly, the Teeswater is one of the foundation breeds used to develop the Gotland sheep in North America.
